Weekenders
For over two decades, Horizons for the Blind has sponsored Weekenders, an outreach social group for EVERYONE.
Each month, the Weekenders travel throughout the Chicagoland area in search of good food, fun, festivals, nightlife and more! Weekenders is open to everyone. Call 815-444-8800, extension 4, for more information. If you wish to attend, annual membership is only $10.

Weekenders November Event | General Meeting and Lunch | La Villa Restaurant, 3638 N Pulaski Rd, Chicago, IL 60641 | Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 12 PM
Join us for our Semi-Annual General Meeting. Lunch will be ordered from the menu, and each guest will be responsible for their own check. We will also play Bingo if space and time permit.
Cost: Order off the Menu, $5.00 for Non-Members

Weekenders December Event | Weekenders Christmas Party | La Villa Restaurant, 3638 N Pulaski Rd, Chicago, IL 60641 | Saturday, December 5, 2026, at 12 PM
Join us for our annual Christmas Party! We will enjoy an afternoon of holiday cheer and Christmas caroling.
Cost: 1/2 Slab of Ribs – $40 for Members and $45 for Non-Members
Chicken Francese – $45 for Members and $50 for Non-Members
Tilapia – $48 for Members and $53 for Non-Members
