Weekenders
For over two decades, Horizons for the Blind has sponsored Weekenders, an outreach social group for EVERYONE.
Each month, the Weekenders travel throughout the Chicagoland area in search of good food, fun, festivals, nightlife and more! Weekenders is open to everyone. Call 815-444-8800, extension 4, for more information. If you wish to attend, annual membership is only $10.

Weekenders April Event | Chicago A Cappella Concert, Building American Pop| Studebaker Theater at the Historic Fine Arts Building, 410 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL | Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 3 PM
Step into a musical time capsule as we revisit the Brill Building era the 1950s and ’60s with narrator Geoffrey Baer. These catchy, heartfelt songs capture the joy of everyday life and still strike a chord today. The concert lasts 1 hour, 50 minutes, including intermission. Before the concert, we will be going to lunch at 12:00 noon at Miller’s Pub, 134 S Wabash, three blocks from the concert location. We will then walk to the concert venue. Let the receptionist know if you are planning to attend the lunch so we can have accurate numbers. We must have a minimum of ten people in order to get this group rate.
Cost: $33 for Members, $38 for Non-Members
